Fort Benning hosts a wide variety of special events throughout the year such as the Soldier Show, the Sand Hill Trainee Concert featuring Miss Georgia Contestants, a Luau, Oktoberfest, Independence Day Celebration and several concerts. At each event there are a wide variety of food and merchandise vendors, inflatables for children, a rock wall, merchandise from the Infantry Museum and a wide variety of others items and entertainment.

The Soldier Show is held annually and this year will be at Wetherby Field. This show is comprised of Soldiers from all around the world showcasing their music and dance talents.

The Luau is Saturday, April 11 & 12 at the Uchee Creek Recreational Area. This event features many different activities for children, luau dancers, food, and much more.

Oktoberfest will be held on October 17, 18 & 19 at the Uchee Creek Recreational Area. This event is held in conjunction with the Pumpkin Patch and the Cross Country 10K.

Fort Benning's Independence Day Celebration will be held June 28 at York field. A wide variety of vendors, children's rides, inflatables, fireworks, and entertainment will be available.
