Recreation Centers
The Community Recreation Division operates two community activity centers to assist in meeting the leisure needs of the military community. The recreation center program is designed to promote morale and enhance the quality of life for the Soldiers, their Family Members, and guests by providing a friendly, attractive atmosphere and beneficial recreational activities that function regularly and effectively.
Sand Hill Recreation Center
The Sand Hill Rec Center offers 20 laptop computers and 16 Zazook computers with an array of games, email, chat, and other features. The center is equipped with 8 large pool tables, air hockey tables, table tennis, and approximately 16 video games. There are 30 acoustic guitars, a drum set, a large grand piano, over 400 VHS & DVD movies, board games, and CDs all available for use. A large projection TV is used for family day exercises as well as classes and briefings. The facility features two movie rooms and two large areas for television viewing, and a large snack bar that serves a variety of food and drinks.
Pro Photo is located on site for buddy photos, family portraits, or individual photos and China Wok is always cooking up delicious Chinese cuisine. Recon Sportswear provides full service embroidery and screen printing with jackets, t-shirts, souvenirs, and other products available for sale.

Kelley Hill Recreation Center
The Kelley Hill Rec Center features board games, a book swap library, billiard room, music room and instruments for check out, a large ballroom, billiard and spades tournaments, and x-box gaming challenges. The ballroom has a stage and is capable of supporting dinner theaters and family movie nights. The back patio just off the ballroom has a shade structure, picnic tables, built in outdoor grills, large gazebo, a 50 meter swimming pool, bathhouse, sand volleyball court and fitness center managed by Sports & Fitness. Hungry? Stop by Hunt Brothers Pizza to grab a quick bite.
The facility also accommodates the offices of the installation's Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) program as well as the Recreation Delivery Systems (RDS) coordinator and program. The 3rd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, regularly uses the center for class briefings, functions, deployments and Family Readiness Group meetings.
