At Smith Fitness Center, we have personal trainers who will help you accomplish your fitness goals. We offer consultations and individual or group sessions. Meet our Personal Trainers

Eric Dempsey is a certified personal trainer and Fitness Bootcamp instructor specializing in strength & conditioning and fat loss. He earned degrees in criminal justice & military and physical education & fitness. He is a retired master sergeant with more than 28 years of experience in fitness training. Eric works weekdays from 9am-1pm.

Megan Hardigree, MS is an ACSM-certified health fitness specialist certified in group exercise, TurboKick and CPR/AED. She earned a master's degree in kinesiology and a bachelor's degree in physical education and exercise science. Her experience includes weight loss, weight training, pre-natal and post-partum exercise, swimming, children and youth fitness, sport specific training, injury prevention and post-injury rehabilitation, pulmonary and cardiovascular rehabilitation.

Kimberly Strauf is an AFPA-certified personal trainer, specializing in weight training and conditioning, nutrition, personalized cardiovascular training, "Crossfit" oriented exercise models, enhanced awareness of personal fitness, and building from the base up through core body exercise.

Jennifer Rodriques is a nationally accredited personal trainer. More information on Jennifer is coming soon!

Massage Therapy

Relax and unwind with a soothing massages from a certified therapist at Smith Fitness Center. We offer 60 minute sessions with prices ranging from $50 to $80. Massage therapy hours are Monday through Saturday 8am-8pm and Sunday noon-7pm by appointment only. Call 706-545-7128.

Meet our Massage Therapists

Traci Kuechenmeister is a licensed massage therapist and certified in advanced neuromuscular, sports performance and craniosacral therapy. A therapist by day and a dedicated mom by night, this Academy of Somatic Healing Arts alumnus owns the Green Sage Wellness Group and enjoys speaking to corporate and private audiences about complimentary health modalities, craniosacral therapy, energetic balancing, meditation/grounding practices, "Knowing Your Boundaries" and basic aromatherapy. With compassion and an open mind, Traci will help you attain personal healing and balance in your life. She performs craniosacral therapy, myofascial and TMJ treatments, MLD, aromatherapy, and Swedish, hot stone, sports and pregnancy massage. Traci is certified with the NCBTMB and is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and the Upledger Alumni Group. (Georgia Massage Therapy License #MT002854)

Cindy Howard is a licensed massage and craniosacral therapist who splits her professional time between her private practice in Atlanta and the Green Sage Wellness Group. Cindy is an intuitive therapist who integrates massage modalities to focus on whole body health and wellness. She performs craniosacral therapy, aromatherapy and Swedish, deep tissue, sports, pregnancy and hot stone massage. Cindy is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and the Upledger Alumni Group. (Georgia Massage Therapy License #MT001824)

Amy Lewark is a licensed massage therapist and certified in neuromuscular, sports massage and craniosacral therapy. Amy earned an associate of science degree in natural health with a concentration in advanced therapeutic massage from Florida College of Natural Health. Amy applies an integrative approach to therapeutic massage that focuses on improving the quality of life for her clients. She performs craniosacral and neuromuscular therapy, including TMJ techniques, Swedish and sports massage, myofascial techniques, lymphatic drainage and aromatherapy. Ronetta Bazemore is a licensed massage therapist, certified in neuromuscular massage, pre-natal massage, hot stone massage, aromatherapy and sports therapies. Ronetta has been a massage therapist for five years and enjoys learning new techniques and modalities to share with clients and fellow therapists. She blends therapeutic and holistic techniques to assist her clients in achieving optimal health and wellness. Ronetta is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. TYPES OF THERAPY
Craniosacral
A light-touch approach, releases tensions, relieves pain, improves health and performance. Therapist works with tissues that house the nervous system to help the body relax and self-correct. Naturally eliminates pain and stress, strengthens resistance to disease.
Swedish
Our most popular massage, wonderful for relaxation and stress management.
Deep Tissue
Swedish massage techniques applied with more pressure, applied with hands, forearms and elbows.
Neuromuscular
Scientific approach to massage therapy that uses specific treatments for each muscle for healing and retraining. Often focused on particular areas of the body for healing of injuries
Trigger Point
Similar to shiatsu, client remains clothed. A therapy tool may be used to manipulate acupressure points. Aids in detox.
Lymphatic Drainage
Gently encourages the lymphatic system to flush toxins from the body. Client remains clothed. Aids in detox.
TMJ
Performed with the utmost care. Myofascial treatment, neuromuscular massage and craniosacral therapy to the shoulders, neck, head and face to relieve TMJ dysfunction. Expect a marked improvement after just one session.
Sports Performance
Integrates myofascial stretching, range of motion and isometric stretches, and vigorous massage. Helps optimize athletic performance. Popular post-workout treatment
Pregnancy
Therapists certified in prenatal and postnatal massage. Gently ease away the aches and pains of pregnancy and childbirth
Reiki
Balance the energy centers of the body. Increase strength and vitality and eases the effects of physical and emotional stress
Watsu
Also known as water shiatsu or water-dance therapy. Performed in a pool, Watsu enables the therapist to decompress the body using water's anti-gravity properties.
