SKIESUnlimited
The name SKIESUnlimited combines the acronym for "Schools of Knowledge, Inspiration, Exploration & Skills" with the word "Unlimited" for the unlimited learning possibilities. Through SKIESUnlimited, children and youth in CDS, SAS, MS&T programs have equal access to opportunities that expand their knowledge, inspire them, allow them to explore and acquire new skills. SKIESUnlimited encompasses instructional programs for children & youth from infancy to adolescence, i.e. six weeks through the end of their senior year in high school. Listed are the 4 schools of knowledge that we offer for the enrichment of our military families.
- School of Academic Skills, Mentoring and Intervention
- School of Arts, Recreation and Leisure
- School of Life Skills, Citizenship and Leadership
- School of Sports, Fitness and Health
Registration & Eligibility
All registrations for the SKIES programs are completed through the Central Registration office. SKIES programs are offered to all children that are dependants of activity duty, retired military, DOD civilian employees, reserve Soldier and DOD contractors.

Army Family Convenant (AFC)
Deployments are hard on all Families; therefore, the Army Family Convenant (AFC) has developed a card to help fill the gap of a deployed spouse. These dollars will aide the family to cover cost of the classes. Participants are eligible for 4 free classes per child, not to exceed 8 weeks.
SKIES Classes
Currently the SKIES classes are held at various locations on main post. In the future the program will have its own building off of Custer Road in the McGraw area next to McBride Elementary School. This new facility will house 135 children and have two fine art studios, as well as an arts and crafts area, technology lab, and kitchen area. The facility will be complete in mid-2010.
