CYS Services Central Registration
For your child to participate in any CYS Services program on Fort Benning, he/she must be registered. We can help you get this accomplished when you stop by, but please ensure that you have proper documentation and means of payment on hand. Appointments are available and recommended.
Services
- Babysitter referrals
- Waitlist for child development center (CDC) childcare
- Referral for on and off post Family Child Care (FCC) providers
- Parent education classes
- Short Term Alternative Child Care (STACC), Volunteer Child Care in Unit Settings (VCCUS), and deployment child care opportunities
Registration Fees
As part of the Army Family Covenant, the CYS Services Registration Fee has been waived for all eligible children.
Eligibility
To be eligible to participate in CYS Services programs, a child must be a dependant of:
- Active duty military personnel
- DoD civilian personnel
- Reserve Soldiers on active or inactive duty
- DoD contractors
- Retirees are eligible on a space available basis.
Required Documents for Registration
- Military / civilian identification card
- Social security numbers for all family members
- Medical cards for children
- Current shot records
- Birth certificate for child(ren) if a DoD Civilian or contractor
- LES / pay voucher
- Health assessment or well baby check up (due within 30 days of registration)
- Two local emergency designees (name, address, phone)
- Current family care plan for single or dual military families
