"You want fries with that?"

The HIRED! program employs teens between the ages of 15 and 18 in MWR facilities to gain real-world work experience. Participants must maintain a GPA of 2.0 or better, complete six classes and participate in the HIRED! interview process. If they are selected to work in an MWR facility, they must work 180 hours to qualify for a $500 cash award. Teens can participate in two terms per year for three consecutive years. The more they participate, the greater the cash award.

Term Information

HIRED participants must be 15-18 years old, the children of Soldiers, military retirees, DoD civilian employees or contractors and must be registered with CYSS. You must complete these forms to particpate.
