Child Development Centers
The Fort Benning Child Development Centers believe that every child has value and must be treated with dignity and respect. We strive to provide a safe and caring environment that will foster the social, emotional, physical, and creative development of children.
Our curriculum is based on the "Creative Curriculum" for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. All programs are age appropriate and based on developmental stages of children. Parent participation is encouraged in order to make our developmental program a success. All of our centers are fully accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
Fort Benning CYSS operates one hourly care and three full day child care centers. Fees are based on total family income. CYSS also provides opportunities for special openings and on-site child care.

Sante Fe Child Development Center
- Full-day care for children 6 weeks to Pre-K age children.
- The Georgia Pre-K program is offered to children 4 years of age by September 1.
- Before and after care is available for Pre-K age children. Before care is 5:15am - 8:30am and after care is 3:00pm - 6:30pm.

1st Division Child Development Center
- Full-day care for children 6 weeks to 5 years old (Pre-K age).
- Hourly care for children 6 weeks to 5 years old (Pre-K age). Hourly care is provided on a first come, first serve basis. Reservations can be made 2 weeks in advance by calling (706) 689-8698/8772 from 8am - 5pm, Monday-Friday. Hourly care is intended for intermittent, irregular care (not the same day and same hours regularly) and cannot exceed 25 hours per week.
- Operates Benning Buddies, a part day pre-school program.
- The Georgia Pre-K program is offered to children 4 years of age by September 1.
Benning Buddies is a part day pre-school program for 2 through Pre-K age. There are Two (T, TH) and three (M, W, F) day programs available that are full of fun activities for the kids, including gymnastics and sports. Fees are based on total family income. Contact us for more information.

Benning Pre-School
Benning Pre-School believes that every child has value and must be treated with dignity and respect. We strive to provide a safe and caring environment that will foster the social, emotional, physical, and creative development of children.
Our preschool developmental program is based on the "Creative Curriculum" for early childhood. The curriculum is child and teacher driven, age appropriate, and based on the developmental stages of children. Parent participation is encouraged in order to make our developmental program a success. A few of our objectives are:
- Learning Environment - indoor and outdoor learning to encourage play and exploration
- Creative - to promote children's ability to use ones own imagination and provide activities that encourages the use of the five senses
- Social - to provide an environmental experience to help children develop social skills, feelings, and respect for others
Services
We offer part-day care for children ages 3 to pre-K age, with M/W/F and T/TH programs available. Fees are based on total family income.
