Employment Readiness Program

The Army knows that employment is one of the most significant issues for military families. The goal of the ACS Employment Readiness Program (ERP) is to assist families with the challenges associated with the job search, particularly as they are impacted by the Army's mobile lifestyle.

Fort Benning ERP provides a full range of information and referral services and assistance in the areas of employment, training and volunteer opportunities. The services are designed to give all active duty, retired military personnel, DoD employees, their Family members (adults and teenagers) and eligible personnel the competitive edge necessary to secure employment. Services include job counseling, job search training, employment and educational information, information on volunteer opportunities, internet job search and assistance in resume writing and goal setting. The purpose of the program is to minimize the employment problems associated with relocation.
