Mobilization & Deployment This program provides training and referral to units, Soldiers, and Family Members to promote readiness for mission related separations. Trainings are for Soldiers assigned to Rear Detachments, Family Readiness Group Leaders, and Key Callers. Pre- and post-deployment briefings are provided to ensure that Family Members know what services are available and how they may be accessed. During Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP), a Soldier’s readiness is reviewed for deployment. The Mobilization and Deployment Program provides a wide range of materials to assist Families, as well as support for the installation evacuation center in the event of a natural disaster. These materials are available in building 2633, Soldiers Plaza
Military Family Life Consultants (MFLC) are licensed professionals, who assist Soldiers and Family Members with a personalized action plan to address issues or concerns during deployment. MFLC are available to help Soldiers, Family Members, children and staff with issues such as; * Marriage and relationship issues * Stress and anxiety * Depression * Grief and loss * Daily life issues Consultants are free and anonymous. No records are kept. MFLC are located in Bldg. 2624 but are also available to meet at locations that are more comfortable for the person(s) seeking service. Please call 706-545-1033 or 706-545-2158.
A Soldier/Family Readiness Group is a command-sponsored organization of Family Members, volunteers, Soldiers, and civilian employees belonging to a unit. This group provides an avenue of mutual support and assistance, and a network of communications among the Family Members, the chain of command, chain of concern and community resources. The ACS Mobilization and Deployment Specialist is located in Building 2633. For more details call the Program Manager at 706-545-2449.
