Low Country Boil
Enjoy a relaxed evening at the Benning Club’s Low Country Boil, September 17 at 6pm! This beach themed event includes a bar, a traditional low country boil, live music by Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band, and lawn games (volleyball, bocchi ball, bean bag toss and more).
Traditional Low Country Boil packed with boiled shrimp, sausage, corn on the cob, onions, and red potatoes for $27/person. Add a Whole Main Lobster or Rib Eye Steak for an additional $8/person ($35pp). Dinner includes a fresh garden salad, sliced watermelon and key lime pie. Click here for more details. Help the Hooch
Help us make Fort Benning beautiful! MWR Outdoor Recreation and the Fort Benning
Environmental Management Division have partnered to host Help the Hooch on October 8. Volunteers needed to help clean the ponds, creeks and other waterways on Fort Benning. All volunteers will receive supplies such as gloves, trash receptacles, etc. For more information, call 706-545-2752 or click here to register.
It’s Oktoberfest time! Fort Benning’s favorite fall tradition, returns to Uchee Creek October 23-25. Put on your dancing shoes and enjoy traditional German music including Sonnenschein Express and Yodelers. There’s food, games for all ages, pumpkin patch, hayrides, and a Volksmarch.
